Gosh, look what you can do with a bit of manga knowledge and a half decent graphic program!

My very first effort, several hours with the MOUSE no less, using PhotoShop3. When starting out, draw things with a limited number of colours and use a picture of something you like as a guide to help you get the feel of your gear.

Another MOUSE pic. You can do some pretty effective things with the old mouse. Again - a limited colour scheme can really work for you. It saves memory and looks great. These 2 pics were inspired by the Japanese anime Gundam.

Of course if you get really lazy, you can do a pencil sketch [below] while you're watching game shows, photograph it and colour it in.... Colouring in is good for you. I recommend it.

Can't beat the old graphics tablet for sheer smoothness...
